Barber Foods Chicken Kiev

As an All Star member one of our requirements this month was to try Frozen Entrees from Barber Foods and have a dinner party for six. I decided to serve the Chicken Kiev, with garlic linguine, fresh green beans, and sweet and sour cabbage, crisp green salad and chocolate brownies with ice cream for dessert!

I have to admit I was Skeptical of using Barber Foods Frozen entree for Chicken Kiev, but was pleasantly surprised. What a nice entree for a quick dinner!!! I do think adding a sauce over the top really added to this. I  appear to be having issues loading the picture so hopefully I can add one tomorrow. I used a simple lemon juice, white wine and caper sauce to top these off. DEE Licious! They also have Chicken Cordon Bleu and a Broccoli and cheese stuffed chicken breast that I plan on trying. I had never noticed them in the store, found them at Hy-Vee in the frozen section. THANK YOU Barber Foods for sending us the coupons to try a GREAT product. Dinner can be ready in 30 minutes! You can't beat that!

  1. The chicken kiev is a great product and wonderful served cut up on spinach salad or linguine! I have tried it both ways, quick and delicious. Thanks so much. Charles
